On the one hand this piece of jewellery symbolises the duality of our world and on the other our connection to higher spheres. Yggdrasil, the World Tree, is sacred in Norse mythology, a mediator between the different spheres of existence. Its roots stand for the netherworld, its trunk for our earthly kingdom and its branches for heavenly spheres. It is not bound to any geographical location, rather it is said that its energies open up to those who deeply seek their roots. In it, wise men ask for healing, knowledge, strength and protection.
